This policy explains what personal data is processed when you play Midnight Bastion (the "game") on Android and when you visit midnightbastion.com.
1. Who is responsible

2. The game itself collects no personal data
The game needs no account and does not send your game data to us. Your progress (for example the discovered recipes and the Soul Tree) is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the game, this data is deleted with it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads. The ads are served by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the AdMob software in the game collects and sends to Google data such as:
- your device's advertising ID,
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it,
- information about your device and the app (for example model, operating system, language),
- how you interact with the ads (for example views and taps).

Your choice. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised ads, which are based on context (for example the game itself) rather than on a profile of you. 4. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content; the fonts and images are served from this site. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages), processes technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect the site; we do not use this data for any other purpose.
5. If you write to us
If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them [RETENTION PERIOD] after the matter is closed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Children

7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing before the withdrawal). As we hold no game data about you, most requests about the ads are answered by Google; write to us and we will help.
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in Hungary with the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH, naih.hu), or with the authority of the country where you live.
